ABOUT SEED

SEED’s mission is to enhance the educational resources for students attending the Bayport – Blue Point Union Free School District. SEED will seek and provide funds that enrich and encourage new student academic experiences. The focus will be on increasing Bayport – Blue Point students’ intellectual opportunities, providing experiences which would otherwise be beyond the scope of the school district’s budget and be inaccessible.

The SEED Foundation’s bylaws state that SEED is not a school budget crutch nor will it aid in budget items and/or expenses. The foundation exists to provide extras that make an educational experience outstanding and memorable. SEED’s intention is to not only garner involvement and support from the community, but to also focus on obtaining grants and monies available to foundations that may not be attainable at a school district level.

The SEED Foundation is an approved 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit foundation, in accordance with the law, donations are tax-deductable.  ID # 45-5566438
