SEED Sponsors BBP High School Excellence in Education Dinner

On the evening of June 14th, SEED was once again proud to sponsor BBP’s annual Excellence in Education Dinner at the Harbor Crab. Each year, six graduating Seniors are chosen by their peers and teachers to be honored on this special evening. The students, in turn, choose three educators each, who had a profound impact upon them during their 13 year career in the Bayport Blue Point School District.  During this event, they present the faculty honorees with their awards.

Pictured here, are this year’s student honorees from left to right: Lena Diaz, Mackenzie Fabiani, Madeline Silecchia, Joe Venero, Kayla O’Shea-Dorfman and Abigail Auwaerter. It was a fantastic night once again, and our own Karl Auwaerter’s daughter, Abby, was one of this year’s six seniors who were honored.

Thank you to Jim March for starting and continuing this outstanding tradition. Also a big thank you to Dr. Passi and his staff for planning such an outstanding celebration of both students and the teachers that inspired them!
